Dr Vito Cistulli

Dr Vito Cistulli is a senior agricultural economist at the FAO since 2003. He is currently leading the FAO work on Rural Institutions, Services and Empowerment, the promotion of which is key to unlock the often hidden development potential of rural areas. Vito brings more than three decades of hands on experience in working with a wide range of private and international organizations on development policy issues, with a focus on inclusive and sustainable rural and territorial development. He published several papers and presided over many programmes and projects in developing countries.
